Engineering work will take place in the Raynes Park area on Sunday 25 May, affecting train services on suburban and long-distance routes.

Buses will replace trains between:

• Clapham Junction and Chessington South via Wimbledon
• Clapham Junction and Surbiton (non-stop)
• Clapham Junction and Surbiton via Kingston
• Clapham Junction and Surbiton via Wimbledon

Train service changes will apply, including:

• London Waterloo – Exeter St Davids, Poole/Portsmouth Harbour via Basingstoke, Portsmouth via Guildford and Weymouth services will be revised and diverted, taking approximately 40 minutes longer than usual
• London Waterloo – Alton and Basingstoke services will start and end at Woking, running hourly
• London Waterloo – Dorking and Guildford via Epsom services will start from Worcester Park
• London Waterloo – Shepperton services will be revised and diverted between Clapham Junction and Kingston via Richmond
• London Waterloo – Hampton Court, Guildford via Cobham & Stoke D’Abernon and Guildford via Woking (stopping) services will start from Surbiton

Please plan ahead and allow extra time to complete your journeys.

Starting in February, electric vehicle charging points at some of our stations will be replaced and updated: 

• Basingstoke – from Tuesday 4  

• Farnborough – from Tuesday 11 

• Fleet – from Monday 17 

• Haslemere – from Thursday 20  

• Wokingham – from Monday 24 

• Andover – from Thursday 27  

This will include installing more modern and durable chargers – existing points were installed in 2019. 

The work will be completed in Spring 2025. During the work, it will not be possible to charge electric vehicles at these stations. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
