If you're attending college or university full-time as a mature student, you can still get a 16-25 Railcard, and if it hasn’t expired, you can use your railcard past your 26th birthday.

When can I use a 16-25 Railcard?
You can use your railcard at any time. There's a £ 12 minimum fare on weekdays before 10:00, but this doesn't apply on bank holidays or during July and August (so those summer days out just got cheaper!)
How much is a 16-25 Student Railcard?
The 16-25 Railcard costs just £ 30 a year, or £ 70 for the three-year card – online offer only.
How do I get a 16-25 Railcard?
You can apply online or download an application form and apply at a staffed ticket office with a passport-sized photo of yourself and a valid ID.
Digital Railcards can be bought online only, go to the Railcard.co.uk to get started. Once you have chosen your Railcard, you will be directed to your chosen Railcard website to buy your Railcard. When you are prompted to 'Choose the type of Railcard you would like', choose 'Digital'.
You can apply online or download an application form and apply at a staffed ticket office. You will require some proof of eligibility and a passport-sized photo.
You can also apply by post, but you should allow five working days for your application to be processed and have your railcard posted to you. You can also pay for Special Delivery service if you want your railcard delivered within two days.
