This is a 4 year apprenticeship.

Apprenticeship standard: Level 3 Maintenance Operations Engineering Technician

Gain valuable experience in project and change management, continuous improvement, and programme delivery. Work across different areas of the business, driving initiatives that benefit customers, colleagues, and industry partners.

Apprenticeship standard: Level 4 Associate Project Manager

Contribute to the planning of major events and assist the Stations and Revenue Protection team in maintaining safety and operational efficiency. Play a key role in developing a culture of performance improvement.

Apprenticeship standard: Level 4 Passenger Transport Operations Manger

Analyse technical delays, gather and interpret data, and investigate performance issues to drive continuous improvement. Support the business with accurate data analysis and reporting, while developing your expertise in strategy and process optimisation.

Apprenticeship standard: Level 4 Improvement Practitioner

Help maintain the highest standards of safety and security in fleet operations while supporting operational safety management. Work alongside the Fleet Management team to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Apprenticeship standard: Level 4 Passenger Transport Operations Manager

To administer maintenance services contracts, provide commercial support to the depots and engineering teams. This role will work with various internal and external stakeholders which includes the supply chain, manufacturers and leasing companies.

Apprenticeship standard: Level 4 Governance Officer

Develop a deep understanding of business continuity, emergency planning, and operational readiness policies. Collaborate with the Joint Emergency Services Interoperability Programme to learn how emergency response strategies are applied within SWR.
