Engineering work will affect services in the Teddington area between Saturday 19 and Monday 21 April, with buses replacing trains from Kingston to Twickenham and Shepperton.

The following service changes will apply:

Saturday 19

• London Waterloo to Shepperton services will terminate at Hampton Wick.
• Buses will run between Kingston and Shepperton.
• London Waterloo to London Waterloo via Wimbledon and Richmond services will terminate at Hampton Wick.
• Buses will run between Kingston and Twickenham.
• A revised service will run between Twickenham and London Waterloo via Richmond.

Sunday 20

• London Waterloo to Shepperton services will terminate at Hampton Wick.
• Buses will run between Kingston and Shepperton.
• London Waterloo to London Waterloo via Wimbledon and Richmond services will terminate at Hampton Wick.
• The afternoon and evening Kingston to London Waterloo via Hounslow services will start at Hounslow.
• Buses will run between Kingston and Twickenham.
• A revised service will run between Twickenham and London Waterloo via Richmond.

Monday 21

• London Waterloo to Shepperton services will terminate at Hampton Wick.
• Buses will run between Kingston and Shepperton.
• London Waterloo to London Waterloo via Wimbledon and Richmond services will terminate at Hampton Wick.
• Buses will run between Kingston and Twickenham.
• A revised service will run between Twickenham and London Waterloo via Richmond.

St Denys to Fareham closure, Monday 14 to Sunday 20 April

Engineering work will take place between St Denys and Fareham from Monday 14 to Sunday 20 April.

Services will be amended as follows:

Monday 14 to Friday 18 April

• Portsmouth to Southampton Central stopping services will not run.
• Buses will run between Fareham and Southampton Central.
• A revised service will run between Portsmouth and Fareham.
• Winchester to Southampton Central stopping services will call additionally at Swaythling and St Denys.
• Bournemouth to Winchester stopping services will call additionally at St Denys and Swaythling.
• Salisbury to Romsey via Southampton Central services will terminate at Southampton Central.
  Passengers for Chandler’s Ford should travel on the diverted Great Western Railway services.

Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 April

• Portsmouth to Southampton Central stopping services will not run.
• Buses will run between Fareham and Southampton Central.
• A revised service will run between Portsmouth and Fareham.

Starting in February, electric vehicle charging points at some of our stations will be replaced and updated: 

• Basingstoke – from Tuesday 4  

• Farnborough – from Tuesday 11 

• Fleet – from Monday 17 

• Haslemere – from Thursday 20  

• Wokingham – from Monday 24 

• Andover – from Thursday 27  

This will include installing more modern and durable chargers – existing points were installed in 2019. 

The work will be completed in Spring 2025. During the work, it will not be possible to charge electric vehicles at these stations. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Services between London Waterloo and Shepperton will be affected by temporary changes in April.

Between Wednesday 9 and Friday 11 April, and then between Monday 14 and Thursday 17 April, there will be fewer trains between London Waterloo and Shepperton.

The first and last services of the day - the 0523 departure from Shepperton and the 2357 departure from London Waterloo – will not run.
