Woking area closures in December and January

The lines between Basingstoke and Woking will be closed.

Buses will operate as follows:

• Woking – Basingstoke (non-stop)
• Woking – Farnborough – Basingstoke
• Woking – Brookwood – Farnborough – Fleet – Winchfield – Hook – Basingstoke
• Woking – Brookwood – Aldershot

Train services will run as follows:

• London Waterloo to Weymouth services will depart earlier from London Waterloo. These services will be diverted between Woking and Southampton Central and will call additionally at Guildford, Havant and Fareham
• The morning and early afternoon London Waterloo to Poole/Portsmouth via Eastleigh services will start from Basingstoke. These services will not divide at Eastleigh
• A revised service will run between Eastleigh and Portsmouth Harbour
• The late afternoon and evening London Waterloo to Poole services will start from Basingstoke and will call additionally at Micheldever and Shawford
• The late afternoon and evening London Waterloo to Portsmouth via Eastleigh services will start from Eastleigh
• London Waterloo to Exeter St Davids services will start from Basingstoke
• Additional services will run between London Waterloo and Woking
• London Waterloo to Basingstoke stopping services will not run
• London Waterloo to Alton services will be revised. These services will be diverted between Woking and Aldershot via Guildford calling additionally at Wanborough and Ash. These services will run hourly
• Ascot to Guildford via Aldershot services will terminate at Aldershot.  Customers for Guildford should change at Aldershot and travel on the revised Alton to London Waterloo via Guildford services

The lines between Farnborough and Woking will be closed and on Tuesday 24 December, Christmas Eve, services on our network will finish earlier than usual.

On Christmas Eve, the last train from London Waterloo to Woking will depart at 2235, with the last buses also departing earlier than usual:

• Woking - Basingstoke (non-stop) (last bus departs at 2249)

• Woking - Brookwood – Farnborough (last bus departs at 2142)
• Woking – Brookwood - Ash Vale – Aldershot (last bus departs at 2257)

Train services will run as follows:

• London Waterloo to Weymouth services will be revised. An hourly service will depart earlier from London Waterloo. These services will be diverted between Woking and Southampton Central and will call additionally at Guildford, Havant and Fareham. An hourly service will start from Basingstoke

• London Waterloo to Portsmouth via Eastleigh services will start from Basingstoke
• London Waterloo to Exeter St Davids services will start from Basingstoke
• London Waterloo to Salisbury stopping services will start from Reading
• Additional services will run between London Waterloo and Woking
• London Waterloo to Basingstoke stopping services will terminate at Woking. These services will call additionally at West Byfleet
• Additional services will run between Farnborough and Basingstoke
• London Waterloo to Alton services will start from Guildford and will call additionally at Wanborough and Ash
• Guildford to Farnham services will not run. Customers should travel on the revised London Waterloo to Alton services

• A revised service will run between Eastleigh and Portsmouth
• Additional services will run between Winchester and Southampton Central
• Customers from London Waterloo and Clapham Junction should travel on services to Guildford to connect with the bus service
• London Waterloo to Exeter St Davids services will start from Andover
• Reading to Salisbury services will not run
• Buses will run between Woking, Guildford, Basingstoke and Andover. Customers from London Waterloo and Clapham Junction should travel on services to Guildford to connect with the bus service
• London Waterloo to Portsmouth via Guildford services will be revised. These services will not call at Woking but will call additionally at Surbiton
• London Waterloo to Guildford via Woking stopping services will terminate at Weybridge
• London Waterloo to Basingstoke stopping services will not run
• London Waterloo to Woking via Staines services will be diverted after Addlestone and will terminate at Weybridge
