What's Going On
Services to Farnborough (Main) are expected to be busier than normal due to the Farnborough Air Show, taking place between Monday 22 and Friday 26 July.

If you’re travelling to or from Farnborough (Main), please allow extra time to complete your journey. Please also note that Oyster cards are not valid on journeys to this station.

Sunday 28 July:

• One bus per hour Barnes to Feltham, calling at Barnes Bridge, Chiswick, Kew Bridge, Brentford, Syon Lane, Isleworth and Hounslow
• Afternoon only - one bus per hour Barnes to Twickenham, calling at Barnes Bridge, Chiswick, Kew Bridge, Brentford, Syon Lane, Isleworth, Hounslow and Whitton

Monday 29 July to Friday 2 August:

• Two buses per hour Barnes to Kew Bridge, calling at Barnes Bridge and Chiswick. This increases to four buses per hour during peak hours.

From Friday 6 September to Sunday 6 October, the Island Line will be closed from Ryde Pier Head to Shanklin for vital maintenance. Rail replacement bus services will operate throughout.

From Monday 7 October to early May 2025, the line from Ryde Pier Head to Ryde Esplanade will be closed as work continues to repair and preserve Ryde Pier. Island Line services will operate every 30 minutes between Ryde Esplanade and Shanklin, with a shuttle minibus service operating between Ryde Pier Head and Ryde Esplanade.
