We have been informed of a signalling problem at Basingstoke. Whilst we investigate this, train services are able to run normally but may have to use different platforms to normal.

Due to a speed restriction over defective track at Farnborough Main trains have to run at reduced speed on some lines towards Basingstoke.

We have been informed that a speed restriction over defective track has been imposed at Farnborough. This means that trains will have to run at a reduced speed on the slow line towards Basingstoke.

Due to multiple track circuit failures between Petersfield and Guildford fewer trains are able to run on all lines.
What's Going On:
Train services running through these stations will be cancelled, delayed or diverted via Eastleigh. Disruption is expected until 20:00 02/05.
What We're Doing About It:
We have been informed that there are multiple track circuit failures between Petersfield and Guildford. This means that trains will be cancelled, delayed or diverted via Eastleigh away from the affected stations in both directions.
Between 11:00 and 20:00 hours the following train alterations will be necessary:-
From Portsmouth Harbour to London Waterloo via Guildford between 11:00 and 17:30:
Fast services from Portsmouth Harbour to London Waterloo via Guildford will be diverted to run via Eastleigh.
Some stopping services from Portsmouth Harbour to London Waterloo via Guildford will have additional calls at Rowlands Castle.
Due to the above alterations, a small number of stopping services from Portsmouth Harbour to London Waterloo via Guildford will be cancelled
From London Waterloo to Portsmouth Harbour via Guildford between 17:00 and 19:30:
Fast services from London Waterloo to Portsmouth Harbour via Guildford will call at all stations between Guildford to Havant
Fast services London Waterloo to Portsmouth & Southsea via Guildford will be diverted via Eastleigh
The 18:15 London Waterloo to Fareham will be diverted via Basingstoke, and will end its journey at Southampton Central
The 19:15 London Waterloo to Southampton Central will be diverted via Basingstoke, and will end its journey at Southampton Central
