At London Waterloo station: The upward escalator on Platforms 21/22 is currently out of service. Access to the WIT platforms can be made via the lift or alternative escalator on platforms 20. One of the six escalators connecting the Balcony and Station Concourse is currently out of service. Access to the Balcony remains available via the lift or alternative escalators along the concourse.

At London Waterloo station: Planned improvement works are ongoing on the passenger lift at Exit 2 until 2nd June 2025 at London Waterloo station. Station staff will be available to direct passengers requiring access to the London Underground to an alternative lift near Wasabi

Trains are expected to be busy with football fans between Birmingham and London due to the FA Cup semi-final taking place at Wembley between Aston Villa and Crystal Palace. If you are heading to the match, we recommend travelling back on Sunday for more choice of return trains. The late afternoon kick-off time means there are very few trains north after the game and these will be extremely busy. Please plan ahead and check before you travel.
