Trains from South Bank to London Waterloo

One of the four escalators at Exit 2 is out of use, and improvement works are ongoing on two escalators between the sidings and the London Underground level. Please speak with station staff if you require further assistance.

The long stay car park at York station is closed.

The escalators are out of order between platforms 6, 7 and 8 and the footbridge at London Kings Cross station. The lifts to most platforms are working, but customers are advised to board services using the main concourse ticket gates and not the footbridge due to possible delays by using the lifts.

Reduced service at South Bank: An unsafe footbridge at South Bank means that trains are currently unable to call at platform 2 at this station. Trains running from Middlesbrough towards Saltburn will not call at South Bank. To assist customers to complete your journey, a shuttle bus has been provided between Middlesbrough, South Bank and Redcar Central, in this direction only. This will be operated by E-Travel. Customers at South Bank travelling towards Saltburn should board the shuttle bus and then connect at Redcar Central for Northern services towards Saltburn. Or catch a train service to Middlesbrough, and then board a return train service for stations to Saltburn. Trains in the opposite direction from Redcar Central towards Middlesbrough are able to run normally.
