Where and when are the Kingston Christmas Market?

This Christmas market in Kingston takes place in the Kingston Ancient Market Place, Kingston-Upon-Thames, London KT1 1JS from the 14 November to the 5 January. This Christmas event is free to attend, and no tickets are required.

If you wish to take part in Bavarian Curling, this takes place between the 7 November to the 24 of December and tickets must be purchased to take part. Tickets are £10 for 45 minutes curling lane rental. You can purchase Bavarian Curling tickets here.

How do I get to the event in Kingston, London?

Travelling by train to Kingston

Kingston Christmas Market is easily accessible with SWR. The closest station is Kingston station, which is just a short walk from the Ancient Market Place, the walk is approx. 8 minutes. Kingston station is served with regular trains from other London stations such as London Waterloo, Vauxhall and Clapham Junction.

If travelling from further afield, many South Western Railway routes such as Wandsworth and Shepperton have direct trains to Kingston station. Other stations may require you to change trains such as Guildford and Southampton. Here, you can change easily at Wimbledon or Waterloo and make your way to Kingston Christmas market from there with SWR.

Arriving at Kingston, the station has step-free access to all platforms and lifts to all platforms. There is a long and steep ramp to Platform 3, but a lift is available to avoid it. The station has an induction loop and accessible toilets with tactile warnings on all platforms. Station staff are available to assist customers at all times trains are running.
